Eu não estava à espera de gostar muito deste livro, pelo simples facto de não ter gostado muito de nenhum livro new adult que li nos últimos tempos. São leituras agradáveis e rápidas, mas não passam muito disso. Como ando com a mania de provar que há livros deste género realmente bons (como aqueles que tenho na minha lista de favoritos) ando a dar mais oportunidades a alguns como este.
Tangled é um romance contado de uma maneira um pouco diferente. Começamos por saber que o Drew está "com gripe" a.k.a "heartbroken". Só depois disso é que percebemos como isso aconteceu. Gostei muito da maneira como a autora contou esta história, apesar do enredo em si não ser nada de espectacular. Também houve vários momentos em que ri a bom rir - uma das melhores características deste livro - e outros momentos em que me apetecia esganar as personagens.
Quanto às personagens, não as achei nada de especial: a Kate tem um pouco mais de fibra do que a normal rapariga new adult e o Drew talvez um pouco mais de autoconfiança. Todavia, não me conectei muito com eles e não penso que sejam personagens que irei recordar daqui a uns tempos.
Esta é, então, uma boa e rápida leitura para qualquer fã de romance. Pessoalmente, ainda não sei se vou ler o segundo livro... pode ser que arranje paciência. We'll see.
