Damianos of Akielos has returned.

Wow, damn. Para ser sincera, não estava à espera que o último livro fosse tão bom quanto foi. Gostei muito dos primeiros dois, que tinham um mundo de fantasia bastante credível, com as claras inspirações gregas, mas sempre com uma dinâmica muito interessante e com personagens fantásticas.
No entanto, nos primeiros livros o enredo nunca me deixou muito entusiasmada, principalmente porque havia muitas coisas que não conseguia acompanhar – quer por não saber bem os nomes das personagens, quer por algumas coisas estarem tão subtis que eu nem reparei nelas.
Neste livro, a escrita torna-se mais clara sem se tornar óbvia, o enredo torna-se mais interessante, as personagens cada vez melhores a cada página que passa.
Só tenho pena que o final tenha sido tão repentino: queria muito que houvesse um epílogo. Claro que depois vim a saber que vai haver um epílogo, mas que vai ser uma short story à parte.
Pode não ser um livro de fantasia 100% inovador, mas que é uma leitura excelente, lá isso é.
